EKS Troubleshooting
First if you need to troubleshoot AWS EKS go throught greate documentation provided by Amazon: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/eks/latest/userguide/troubleshooting.html If it that was not helpfull in enough consider: 1) Check subnets 2) Check configmaps and IAM role I had situation when configmaps had thisame name and they overide each other. How it manifest itselfs? - kubectl get nodes - status change to NotReady - logs of kubelet include authorization errors (journalctl -u kubelet) - connection via certificate feiled - nc -vz ec2. .amazonaws.com 443 -> failed but curl ec2. .amazonaws.com/healthz success because it not need certificate to communicate 3) Check tags for VPC and subnets 4)
